A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today.  The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

This program will be offered Saturday, Dec. 5, and Sunday, Dec. 6. Program hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.Enjoy the wintry landscape and crisp fresh air while challenging yourself with a fun winter-themed scavenger hunt. Head to our Grand Hall to warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and craft your heart out! All materials and supplies will be provided as well as a variety of samples to spark your creativity.
