Visitors to LaSalle County, IL will have a unique oppurtunity to visit six local museums, historical societies and a historic mansion at a very special bargain price. This passport may be purchased at any of the six venues, and the price is $1 per person. Passports are valid for two days only. Simply Present the Passport at each venue for admission. There will be no further admission fees for this event. Each destination is vastly different and is guaranteed to not only grab your attention, but teach you history and what makes LaSalle County so unique. The six venues listed are:
Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum
1100 Canal Street – Ottawa
This museum shares the history of the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire and Lone Scouts youth groups as well as the history of Ottawa, IL.
Seattle Sutton Marseilles Museum
151 Washington St – Marseilles
Located in the historic Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Depot, this museum is designed for visitors to explore the history of Marseilles, IL.
Norsk Museum
3656 E. 2631st Road – Sheridan
This museum is in the oldest Norwegian Lutheran Church in the oldest permanent Norwegian settlement in North America.
Sheridan Historical Society

Hegeler – Carus Mansion

Located in the banks of the historical Illinois & Michigan Canal, this museum houses collections relating to the entire county’s history.
