Celebrate Pride with these events

Pride Month is officially here! Not only do we dedicate this month to celebrating and commemorating the LGBTQ+ community, but we also dedicate this month to the Stonewall Riots in 1969. If you're still figuring out what events to participate in, don't worry. Here are just a few of the events to help plan your day.

Ottawa Family Pride Fest - June 10th

• Featuring a great line-up of family-friendly activities and live music, the second annual Ottawa Family Pride Fest will be on June 10th from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM in Washington Park, Ottawa. With this year's theme being In This Together, this fest allows the City of Ottawa to bring communities together to celebrate, advocate, and reflect on the challenges the community has endured. Joliet Slammers Pride Day - June 17th

• The Joliet Pride Network has partnered with the Joliet Slammers for the first-ever official Pride Night. Purchase tickets through the link to support the Joliet Pride Network and select sections 103 or 105. The Slammers will play against the Ottawa Titans. 

Plainfield Pride Fest - July 9th

• This year's event will be the first-ever Pride Fest in Plainfield! Enjoy a day of drag performers, an out-of-water mermaid, a local dance troupe, local bands, and vendors from Plainfield and surrounding areas.
