Easter Around the Corridor

Easter is right around corner and if you’re looking for plans to do with your family, we have some ideas that’ll be perfect for you. And don’t worry about cooking a full Easter dinner, cater your spread at one of our local restaurants, so you can focus on creating memories.

Activities

March 31 - Egg-Luminate Night Egg Hunt - Dellwood Park Community Center (Lockport)

Hop on over to Dellwood Park Community Center for a fun-filled night with the Easter Bunny and much more! The night will feature a family entertainer, pizza & drinks, and an egg hunt outside! Don't forget your flashlight and basket to collect all of your eggs! In case of inclement weather, the egg hunt will be inside. Pre-registration is required for both adults and children attending. Recommended for ages 1-10. 

April 1 – Hippity Hoppity Bunny Trail - Lemont Park District (Lemont)

Hop on the Centennial Trail from 10am - noon and go table to table from our local Sponsors & Partners for treats! Partcipants are encouraged to dress like a bunny. Registration is required. $6 per resident $9 per non-resident

April 8 – Easter at The Forge: Lemont Quarries (Lemont)

The Forge celebrates Easter! From 10am to 4pm, travel to the Forge Parks for a EGGstra fun day with scavenger hunts, egg hunts, egg rolls, and more! Plus, meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy these special activities for kids ages 14 and under. The Egg Roll & Hunt will be for ages 6 and under, and the Nature Egg Scramble will be for kids ages 7-14. 

April 7 – Adult Easter Egg Hunt - August Hill Winery (Utica)

Want to feel like a kid again? Join us at the tasting room for an Adult Easter Egg Hunt! Find an egg and take it to an AHW associate to claim a prize. Each egg will have something special! One egg per customer. Participants must be 21 or over. While you're there, make sure to pick up some Easter wine.

April 8 – Hoppin' on the Green - Heritage Harbor (Ottawa)

Hoppin' on the Green will kick off with kids crafts, Clifford, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and more! Meet at Cottage Green.

April 9 – Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Jump - Skydive Chicago (Ottawa)

Skydive Chicago will be hosting an egg hunt on the south lawn with a guest appearance by the Easter Bunny! Open to the public. No registration necessary.

11:00am Egg Hunt begins
11:30am Easter Bunny jump!

As this event has grown over the years, Skydive Chicago would greatly appreciate any donations of candy or cash! Candy donations can be dropped off in the manifest office anytime before 4/7.

Please remember to bring your own basket or bag for kids to collect eggs.

April 1 – Breakfast with the Bunny, Starved Rock Lodge & Conference Center (Oglesby)

$20 Adults, $15 Children 10 and under, Children 3 and under are free Come get in the Easter Spirit with a Breakfast with the Bunny! After breakfast, the Bunny himself with join us and we will have an egg hunt! Advanced reservations are required as space is limited.

April 9 – Easter Catering! The Public Landing Restaurant (Lockport)

Dine in or bring the flavors of the Public Landing home for the holiday! Featuring "The Hopper" Easter Catering Package. Serves up to 6 guests. Order by April 9th, pick up April 16th. All orders come with reheating instructions.

April 9 – Easter Champagne Brunch - Bolingbrook Golf Club (Bolingbrook)

Reservations are suggested for the Easter Brunch at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. The Easter Bunny will be present all day!
