Heritage Corridor Destinations Earns DMAP Reaccreditation from Destinations International

Heritage Corridor Destinations (HCD) has once again earned Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) reaccreditation from Destinations International, one of the tourism industry's highest achievements for organizational excellence.  

The DMAP accreditation is awarded in recognition of a destination organization's commitment to industry excellence and meeting the industry standard for performance and accountability. This achievement marks HCD's second reaccreditation since first earning DMAP accreditation in 2014.

The DMAP accreditation program requires a destination organization to successfully comply with a set of rigorous mandatory and voluntary standards that span a variety of performance areas to gain this momentous achievement. The standards cover nearly all aspects related to the management and marketing of destination organizations including governance, finance, human resources, sales, communications, destination development and research. Heritage Corridor Destinations is among nearly 200 destination organizations that have obtained DMAP accreditation.
