New Rum Release at Star Union Spirits

Coffee is brewing at Star Union Spirits in Peru, IL, and I don’t mean your typical morning cup of dark roast.

Star Union Spirits Coffee Liqueur is set to release this Saturday, February 27, 2021. This is a Rum based-Liqueur that is cut with cold brew Guatemalan coffee, sourced from Krema Coffee House in Plainfield, IL.

The new flavor adds to their portfolio of high quality, small-batch Rum, which also includes their 2020 Platinum Award Winning Silver Rum.

As they continue to celebrate historically themed labels on their bottles, the Coffee liqueur features a 1930’s racing biplane. This was inspired by an airplane owned by Herman Hamer, who was the president of LaSalle-Peru Airways in the late 1920’s and early 30’s.

They are no stranger to great tasting spirits. Go down the line and try their Brandy, Vodka, Agave and Whiskey made to create the perfect cocktails. Drink responsibly! Cheers!
