A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today.  The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

Siegel's Cottonwood farm is an over 100 year 4th Generation working farm, established in 1909. In the spring and early summer the farm is open with a flower and garden Center featuring flowers, shrubs, trees and pesticide free vegetable & herb plants. From June 1st thru October come to the farm for your family reunion, company picnics, weddings, fundraisers and more. In the summer, when the crop is ready, they have extra sweet corn and fresh produce. In the fall, come out to the annual Pumpkin Fest, with over 20 unlimited fun attractions.
