The Gladys Fox Museum, operated by the Lockport Township Park District, preserves and celebrates the rich history of Lockport and the surrounding community. The museum showcases historical artifacts, photographs, and exhibits highlighting the area’s early settlers, local industries, and community milestones, offering visitors a meaningful connection to our region’s heritage.

Located at 231 E. Ninth St., Lockport, IL, the Gladys Fox Museum is also perfect for luncheons, meetings, wedding ceremonies, seminars, baby showers, and bridal showers. The facility has a maximum capacity of 45 guests with tables and chairs included, along with private access during your rental. Amenities feature access to a sink, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and coffee urns.

The Museum also hosts special community events throughout the year, including FREE Bingo at the Fox, held May–August on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9–11AM. Additional annual favorites include the Festival of Trees on November 28 and the beloved Christmas Tea on November 29, 2026.
