Experience one of the largest family friendly kite festivals in the Midwest, and on Route 66, where you will find displays of giant show kites; precision stunt teams performing amazing aerial ballets to music with their kites; and spectacular and colorful ground displays!Vendors will be selling kites and other items, and food vendors will be on site as well!The Route 66 Kite Festival is held annually on the 3rd Saturday of September from 10AM to 4PM at the Pontiac Rec Plex, 2104 Old Airport Road.
